1. Will these discounts work?
i think that it will because more people will buy if they feel that they are getting a better price.
2. Is the economy that bad as to where people will not travel on vacation?
for some yes, but people are still receiving bonuses so i think they might have to cut back on how much they vacation but not cut it out all together.
3. Does it hurt in state residents decision to travel to in state vacation areas?
no; the cost of gas or flying would be cheaper.
4. Would it hurt the economy more to offer these discounts?
no it would also bring in more business for the resorts...

Yeah the economy isnt so bad for many people not to travel at all, they might not need to offer as much as a 30% discount, but ill take it :)
ReplyDeleteThat seems about right, i like the in state idea too because it saves money on gas, the discounts won't hurt the economy but maybe that business
